Quill Todo

August 2021 - Present

I love todo apps! Unfortunately, I have had trouble finding one with all of the features that I want, so my friends and I are creating our own in our software engineering class using Ruby on Rails.

    Core features:

    • a synchronized list and calendar view for tasks

    • the ability to add any number of different assigned “work” dates/subtasks for a task as well as a final due date

    • very fast creation of tasks using natural language processing

    • one-click addition of subtasks

    • drag to reschedule tasks

    • a system to encourage the user to redistribute work more evenly if they have too much work assigned for one or more dates

    • fully open-source and made with love 💖

    The Art of Triggering Myself

    July 2020

Important TW: Disturbing imagery, sudden and loud noises, flashing lights

An art project made in 2020 exploring the causes of, experience, and ramifications of triggering myself based on random daily events. I also tried to explore the theme of branching storylines. You will get a different "ending" based on how much you have revisited the past. It's not always a pleasant experience but I've found that there is value in trying to strike a healthy balance between acknowledgement of and learning from the past as well as remaining grounded in the present and future. This was my first somewhat more substantial foray into JavaScript.

      Me(Ta)

      August 2020

This is a short art project I made around August 2020 to help me get back into CSS and learn JavaScript. I had just gotten back to campus and as everyone was in quarantine, pretty much all of our communication and connection to the outside world (even just outside of our dorms) came through the internet. I wanted to visualize all of the digital communication and its metadata that I sent and recieved within a 24-hour time period.

        My Tech. Notes

          2020 - Present

Most of my tech. notes from the past year or so. They were written in Obsidian and that is how I'd recommend viewing them! More information and a quick getting started guide can be found on GitHub and in the actual notes.
